1. Who we are

Switchyard is a UK sole-trader practice operated by Sam Luker (“we”, “us”, “Switchyard”). For anything relating to your data, contact contact@samluker.ninja.

2. What we collect

We collect only the personal data you give us directly:

  • Name and email when you submit the contact form.
  • Company name and message contents if you choose to share them.
  • Booking details (name, email, calendar slot) when you book a call via our Cal.com link — handled by Cal.com directly.

We do not use tracking cookies. Our analytics provider (Vercel Analytics) operates without cookies and does not track individual visitors.

3. Why we collect it

  • To reply to your inquiry.
  • To deliver the services you've engaged us for.
  • To meet our legal and tax obligations as a UK sole trader.

Our lawful basis under UK GDPR is legitimate interest (for responding to inquiries) and contract (where we're delivering paid services).

4. How long we keep it

Inquiry data: up to 24 months from your last contact, then deleted. Client engagement records: 7 years from the end of the engagement, in line with HMRC record-keeping obligations.

5. Who we share it with

We use the following processors. None of them are paid to profile you; they're used purely to deliver this site and our services:

  • Vercel — site hosting and analytics (US, with EU/UK data-processing addendums).
  • Resend — email delivery for contact-form submissions (US).
  • Cal.com — meeting bookings (US).

We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with advertisers.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict its processing, port it elsewhere, and object to its use. Email contact@samluker.ninja with any request — we respond within 30 days.

You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

7. Updates to this policy

We'll update this page if anything material changes. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version.
